Faces Behind Bishopthorpe Cricket Club – Rob Balding Some people just get what a cricket club should be — and Rob is one of them. Joining the club just two years ago, relatively new to the sport, Rob has thrown himself into everything Bishopthorpe Cricket Club stands for. His passion and desire have helped breathe new life into the club, and in a short space of time he’s become a huge part of what we do. As our junior representative and coach, Rob now plays a massive role in developing the next generation of cricketers — creating a fun, welcoming environment where kids can learn and enjoy the game.
